Before we begin I would like to make one notion clear. This battle is OOC, meaning it has absolutely NOTHING to do with the current story or plot and therefore this battle does not exist inside the plot. This battle is designed to test Keon's reactions to various situations during battle and to gage his skills as an rper to better understand where he needs improvement. This shall be a one on one battle between Keon's pride and joy character, Keon and my character Haseo.
This battle is not a life or death struggle in particular. If the thread begins to turn that way and if one or both our characters should die that is fine, they are not considered dead in the plot. The situations shall increase in their damage and level of difficulty as the thread continues. If at any time Keon begins to really struggle the battle shall be stopped momentarily and I shall offer advice and coach Keon on how to better make do with that type of situation. The end of the battle shall be called when I feel I have seen enough. As Keon's instructor I have this right to do so.
Keon is allowed to make use of any and all jutsu he has, this includes jutsu which may not have been accepted as of yet. The reasons have already been explained for the jutsu's decline however with this knowledge Keon shall also be tested on how to use the abilities properly without going over board into g-modding territory. Think of this as your own test of becoming a chuunin level rper, Keon.^^ Just do your best and show me what you got!

[OOC-begin test. Trial one. Given the fact haseo is a demon and seems to come from no where should promote enough of a scare to Keon to jump into combat. Haseo is not looking for a fight, as such he is merely going to defend for now, this shall be the easiest part of the trial. If you want a better physical description of him, just look at the picture in my sig.^^]
IC-
It is often said that endings and beginnings are related. That there is no such thing as a true ending, only new beginnings. There is no such thing as death, only another step one must take in their existance. If this is true, then what trials await? What battles need to be fought? Should this be the task set to me by the Twilight Dragon...or is it merely my unfortunate luck which has landed me here in this strange place? Does it really matter? I only hope the others are fairing well enough without me.
Ragged sigh escaped from between the fangs of the estranged male, crimson eyes lifted heavenwards, set to gaze upon a never ending forest. Gentle breeze sifted through the flazen hair of the demon, dancing across his pale skin as though it were the delicate fingertips of the one he so did love, the one left behind during battle. Tongue ginerly prodded at the tips of his top set of canine fangs as the male became lost in thought once again. Having only arrived here a few days ago, the young demon hand not yet made contact with any of the inhabitents of this strange new world.
He did not exactly have the right to call this new dimension he'd been unwilling sent to strange, after all it, for the most part, resembled his homeland. Still, he could not shake this eerie feeling of detatchment, as though he were in a dream, seeing things through a hazy fog. A slight shake of the cranium was required in order to remove the troublesome thoughts from the front of his mind. Unnatural feelings or not, the point remained he was still an unknown and more than likely, an unwelcome tourist into a land which could very well prove ten more times dangerous than the place he dared to call home.
Eyes cast about, despertly searching for a route hidden within the numerous sea of trees that might be lucky enough to lead him to civilization. If these inhabitents were in the least bit like those in which he grew up with, they should accept him despite what was probably a strange appearance given what exactly he was. Currently reclined upon his strong haunches, the beast leaned forward, stretching out in a rather dog like fashion. Giving himself a hearty shake, the unknown male quickly stood up, placing his weight upon two legs instead of four.
Great talons dug into the soft earth, back straightening then cracked into a steady position to allot for this new posture. Long tail hung loosely behind him, the end tensively weaving side to side, twitching in the form of slight aggitation as a cat's tail twitches. Good, now he could see better like this. Standing a full eight feet two inches in height the strange creature continued his search for a path. How this reminded him of the Forest of Pain, a seemingly never ending labrynth of a forest spanning countless miles. If he learned anything from that place, it was how to survive.
Cranium tilted back, nose sticking into the air as he closed his eyes, taking in his surroundings. Drawing in a great breath, expanding his lungs to their fullest extent, the beast searched, desperate to pick up on any scent which might lead him out of here. There was a faint odor, one he knew well. It was human and it wasn't all that far off! Perhaps he could locate this human and ask for directions? The thought caused a pang of guilt to sweep over him. Since when did men ask for directions?! This time around he was left with no choice. Sighing once again, the beast stepped forth, making his way through the forest into the unknown.

Keon heard a sound that startled him a bit spun around his mind in a daze and he was backed against a wall of thorn bush. He was out picking roses for his wife's funeral it had been 3 days since she died. He had a rose in his hand and a dozen or so on the ground beside him. He dropped the one in his hands as he walked slowly to his gourd popping the top by making pressure in the tank. He waved his hand and lifted the gourd placing it on his back by a strap made of water, it was loose but it held. by the time Keon had turned around to return to the bush a small demon was standing before him.
The site of the beast set of a memory. a memory that made him so furious he immediately lost control and blacked out. In doing so his alter ego, Noek was awoken and now took over the body, Keon was left to watch from a distance. Noek now in control of the body saw the beast and thought only to kill it just for being in his presence on its hind-legs and looking down on him. He removed His claws from the gourd which were wet but a quick Slash got rid or the water on them. Noek then jumped back and Thew a few senbon at the demon's chest. counted after they were in the air. 1..2..3..4..5 yes five senbon flying at the beast in front of him. Noek did three back flips and landed in between a rose bush and a patch of poison ivy. He was careful not to touch them. However while he hid he entered the third level of Aqua Soul and readied himself for a counter attack

[OOC- just as a quick note, your sentences are rather choppy and a few words seem to have been left out here and there, making it a little harder to understand the meaning of things. You're actions are jerky and ridged at best, though this might be Keon's design, there is no fluid transition between sentences and actions. Establishing this flow through use of transition words is vital to making the rp sound better. If Keon is jerky in his actions, use word to describe instead of showing the jerkyness through making choppy sentences. Some sentences appear to be run-ons in a few areas as well. There is great potential in this post of yours, you're just not all the way there with making descriptions. Take a look at my posts for examples if you are unsure. As the element of water, Keon is fluid and changes rapidly, the post should be the same way.]
IC-
Preparation, something all warriors are capable of, are taught until the lesson has been ground into their brains and bred into their very bones. Many had attempted to cover all bases in the past, stretching themselves so thin they were snapped like a string. Humans were indeed strange creatures, cast under the illusion they could be ready for anything to come their way if they had enough perparation. Fools, even after centuries upon centuries of existance in this world, it was a lesson they had failed to learn; it was a wonder the species was even still alive!
There is no such thing as a 100 percent statement. Death was the only true thing a person could count on, but even then it remained unknown as to when the embrace of death would appear before them. As the old saying goes, here today, gone tomorrow. For demons, they knew it was impossible to cover all bases, to be ready for anything, there were simply too many variables in this world. Why bother wasting energy attempting to do the impossible? Something even the gods themselves were incapable of, hence why there was more than a single god watching over the lands.
Still, airing on the side of caution was essential if one did not desire an early demise. For the elders, this was a given, always on alert, eyes never wavering once from their surroundings, senses tuned in to everything around them. To hear the birds singing in the trees, smell the grass undertoe, feel the earth rumbling beneath their feet as it turned over an unseen ocean of magma. Taste the particles floating about in the air, wary yet not over reacting to their environment. Yes, this was something Skeith, the Epitaph asleep within this strange beast knew well.
He was the guide for this young male, the one to train him, teach him, develope him. This was not to be, Skeith was still reeling from the final battle against Cubia and was thus out of commission, leaving the young male on his own for the first time in years. One might have thought by now the youth would have picked up on Skeith's training. But young minds are easily distracted, emotions overtaking thought like a deadly swarm. Almost panic driven, training escaped the youth's mind, caution thrown to the wind as primal survival instinct reigned over him.
Silent was his approch, footfalls silent as death moving with the grace of a shadow he slipped through the underbrush with ease for his size. Following his nose more than his eyes, he quickly triangulated the source of the scent, upwind by half a mile to the north, north east. If there was one thing he was certianly thankful for it was the supreme senses at this point in time. Though mostly human in appearance body wise, his senses were that of a predatory animal, not unlike the great predators of the past and present, a gift in all meaning of the word.
Gait was alighted with the swiftest of speeds, as though he were flowing across the ground rather than running his movements mimicing those of a great river. Stopping every once in a while to re-triangulate the source of the scent he was following it was not long before his quary was found. Or rather, what he hoped to be his savior. The male could not have been more wrong.
Stepping forth from the shadow of the trees lining the clearing, stopping to brush aside a few offending leaves having attatched themselves to his rather spiky and spiny armor he was not even granted the time to utter a single word before he found himself in a situation that was the last he wanted to be in. Whoa! the word was swept away by the wind, the male ducking at high speed, just narrowly avoiding the weapons thrown at him! Standing up, he glanced behind him, staring for a moment at the strange objects imbedded deep into the bark of a tree.
What the hell was that for?! voice rumbled forth, the male rather perplexed at the audacity this human had! It was worth his while to keep his cool, killing the only sentient being he'd seen in days was not the smartest thing to do. For all he knew this human could very well be linked to creatures even more powerful than himself. He did not need to enduce a death match with another monster in his current state. Still, he hoped against hope he could reason with this man. Though, he had a nagging feeling in the back of his mind this was not going to go as planned.

Noek remained silent listening to the beast in front of him move. Noek was usually very reckless but common sense held his normal personality back. He made a quick hand seal and his claws started to glow. Noek then tore open a portal to another dimension and fell backwards into it. The portal was toward the sky of the dimension he entered even though it was perpendicular to the ground in the dimension he came from. He then did a back flip and landed five feet later on his feet.
Noek then made a water clone out of the water from his gourd and opened a new portal. He sent the clone back through the first portal and he went through the newly formed one. When the clone landed back where Noek hid before in the bushes he made a slight rattling sound. The real Noek, however landed behind the beast and used the Invisibility Jutsu he learned from his studies in the Rock Village.
Noek then upped the pain he would deal in his next move by entering the fourth level of Aqua Soul. His recklessness shown as he stared at his target from behind placing both hands towards his opponent, arms extended feet an inch or two more then shoulder width apart and body shifted a few degrees to the left, maybe 35 or 40 degrees. He would start by disabling the legs rather then the entire body. First he would need a distraction to get the beast in the open and moving.
Noek made the clone jump out from the bushes and use its claws to split the beasts skull. The clone jumped out from the bushes both claws on each knuckle, including his thumb, and spun around in a full 720 degrees. Behind his claws were enough force to kill an adult lion. That is to say if it made full dead on contact with the head. The claws five seconds before impact sprouted water drills covering the tips of the blades on each claw, extending the reach of the claws by four inches making the claws one foot long each and ten inches on the thumb.
Noek then waited for the response making sure to keep perfectly still and to breath slowly and calmly as not to be detected. He thought out his next move while he waited. "Ok, now if the move hits this might just end however if it misses I might get to freeze this guy up in a very nice pose. A great one to mimic in one of my famous ice sculptures" Noek thought quickly planning out each of his moves, taking into the equation all the possible variables.
(Is this a better post?)

[OOC- yes this is better.^^ Detailed and with more info for the other poster to go off of. However the dimensional thing was a bit odd but thats just my opinion. I read his bio but I don't think there was anything in there about him being able to do that. Meh I guess it was a jutsu I didn't find yet, you got alot of jutsu threads lol. Lots of moving around, good idea to distract an enemy but here is a hint. Save your strongest abilities for last. Presenting a strong ability such as this so early in the fight before damage has been delt to the enemy is a bit of a bad idea. As of now Haseo can use that against you and force you to reveal more of your abilities.
It would be best to wait until Haseo has been damaged and his reactions are slower and he can't counter. Hit your enemy when they are down. I know it sounds dirty but there is a difference between dirty and g-modding. Part of the fight is to make the enemy come to you instead of you go to them. Force them to reveal their strength and weaknesses without revealing too many of your own. Save your best abilities for last. And observe the enemy more. Search for visual weaknesses. Stick to testing the physical limits first, then start using other abilities once you are sure of what you find. Just becareful not to bring OOC info into the battle. You might have read my bio and know my weakness but since the characters never met they know nothing. So you know this info but the character does not.]

What was up with this guy?! Why did he insist on fighting?! Could he not clearly see the other male was making no effort to attack or counter attack? The only thing he'd done in the matter of self defense was narrowly dodge the strange knife like weapons hurled at him only a few seconds ago. He had even questioned the other as to his actions. Though, it wasn't the most polite manner of doing so, sounding more like a demand but then again this beast wasn't exactly the model star for humanitarian prowess. His approximation of nice was blunt at best, still at least he had enough manners to ask before loosing his cool and hauling off into the fight.
It was then a thought occured to the young beast, something heshould have considered earlier before even beginning his trek to civilization. Being from a different dimension more than likely could mean a language barrier. This male might be continuing to attack simply because he could not understand what the male was saying! It was a perfectly logical thought. Or, perhaps the languages they spoke were close yet different enough to be mis-interpreted. The other could have taken what the male was saying as a declaration of an assult rather than what he actually meant.
Still if this was the case did actions not speak louder than words? This brought the situation full circle once more. If the other could not understand words, why could he not understand his actions? He did not attack and did not issue a counter attack, what other barriers could there possibly be?! Well, that was a stupid question to even bother thinking about. the male thought to himself. He might resemble a human in his body and face, but with a tail, claws, fangs, talons, animal like legs, and wearing this armor, it certainly made him out to be the bad guy. It made perfect sense for the other to panic and believe he was being tricked into a false sense of security.
Great, just what the male needed! More complications! Though this thought process might have taken up several minutes it was actually exicuted in only the manner of a few minutes. The processing power of an Epitaph's brain moved much faster than a human. After all, purely physically speaking the human body and nervous system was not as evolved as the demons. At least thats how it was with the humans in his home dimension. For all he knew the humans of this dimension could be more advanced.
And this human had just proven his point. Here one second and gone the next. So, these humans were of a higher ranking than those of his homeworld? Best not to underestimate this guy, time to get serious, otherwise he might very well be in for another life and death struggle. Eagle eyes tracked the movements of the other, ears turned in to the movements of the other. But experience told him he could not trust his eyes, nor could he trust his ears. With the wind having died down, relying upon sent could be done but it was not full proof. No, he must trust on the sensations, on his feeling of touch and his ability to sense and track aura.
He moved narry the width of an atom, feet firmly planted upon the ground, his body intuned and in sync with the earth, feeling the vibrations. Okay, the other had removed his feet from the ground, vanishing through a portal. Who knew humans could create portals?! Aura sense kicked in, working in the same fashion as the heat sensing pits of a snake, the beast was able to track his quary, though he did have a range limit. So long as the target stayed in his range, he would be able to track him. A back attack huh? thought raced through his mind.
With aura sense keyed in on the target, the beast dodged, yet not fast enough. This was on purpose, for he did not wish to reveal the true extent of his abilities to this enemy as of yet. He needed more information before he unleashed more power. There was no telling how long this battle was going to last. And in his weakend state, it was not a chance he was willing to take.
Body moved with the speed of a striking cobra, right arm shot out, held up in a defensive position to block. The massive spikes upon his forearm were just enough to stop the attack from hitting home, absorbing some of the damage. He dare not tarry here. No sooner had the attack been blocked did the beast leap backwards, putting distance between himself and the other. Sensing something behind him, that ten foot long tail was brought into action, the sword like end blocking a second attack. Great, surrounded. Swiftly leaping into the air, the beast turned to form a triangle between himself and the enemy.
Now, what shall happen?

Noek stepped out of the shadows and became visible knowing he had been caught. Noek thought to talk to the beast and find out what it wanted first. After he found out that, he would call it a liar and spit in its face to anger it. He hated people that wouldn't fight back it was something that really messed with his head. For one reason only. It was the only thing in life he could find a logical reason for well chose a logical reason for. There were two choices to chose from. Either they were cocky and just showing off or they were afraid and know nothing but dodging. He ignored that and asked the question.
"Who are you and what do you want with me? Have you come to kill me?" Noek's anger flowed now more than ever forcing him into th fifth lv of Aqua soul his body now covered in ancient markings chakra burning his shirt off of his body leaving a bit at his wast that was tucked into his pants. He calmed down a bit but his voice still had signs of pain and anger in it. "What are you hear for?" he screamed at the top of his voice sending birds flying in every direction. He lost his cool for a second and slashed a tree into two parts the truck hitting the ground. He then looked at the beast with a cold hard stare pain and anger in his eyes.

Well, this certianly disproved the language transition the young beast had expected. He clearly understood every word, every part of what the enraged human bellowed at him. Still, even if the male could understand his opponent this did not necessarily mean his opponent could understand him. Straightening up the male decided this was his best shot at attempting to make the other understand the situation. Though, something in the back of his mind told him this still was not going to go over well.
Drawing in a deep breath, the other returned to a neutral stance, dropping from his defensive position. Many would have thought him insane for such a move, however, he was desperate to prove the aspect of the words which he would speak. He wanted to assure the other he was telling the truth and not attempting any form of trickery.
Who am I? My calling is Haseo. Have I come to kill you? No. Why would I kill someone who I have never met and has done me no wrong doing? words were abruptly cut off by the sudden display of anger from the other. Sure, slicing a tree in half was something the beast was actually use to seeing, but not from a human! The motion caused a slight flicker of insecurity to bubble in the pit of the young demon's gut. He was a stranger, in a strange land, weak and on the brink of exhaustion from the battle having thrown him into this dimension. He knew no one here, had no place to stay, he didn't know where he was and already he'd stumbled into a mess of trouble!
I mean you no harm. I only wanted to know where I am and how to get out of here. I only wished to ask you directions. You attacked me as soon as I appeared. I can understand why you did to an extent. I don't exactly look like you. I will admit I'm not human. But all I want is some help. Please! a look of sincere was written all over the young male's face, as to whether or not the other was going to believe him was another story. It was the truth, not a lie but Haseo knew very well the other did not know this. After all this was the first the two had met. Haseo could only hope the other would calm down enough to stop attacking him.
If he chose to continue fighting than Haseo would have no choice but to oblige the other.

Noek stabbed the water clone with his right claw in a curved fashion from its neck to its stomach. In doing this Noek made an arced blade or water extending from the back of the claw up to, and past his shoulder reaching 6 or 7 inches above his actual shoulder blade. After the slash but while the other was forming he spun and bent his back backwards allowing his left shoulder to hit first landing on the water clone's head. In this move however Noek was able to make a blade that started at his shoulder and went down to, and extended past his claws giving them an extra inch making them 7 inches.
Noek's aura changed as well as his markings. He became angry and they turned red. "The one thing I hate most in live, more than anything in this world. Is a liar!" Water began to rise out of the gourd making a spinning cloud like shape behind him. "Now i gave you a chance now i will have to treat you like a demon deserves." He paused as tears formed in his eyes "With as much pain ad anguish as there kind has inflicted to mankind!"
Noek dashed at the demon aiming for the first two points he had seen. The first was on the upper chest. He tried to slide under the beast and would counter with mist body if it tried a fatal blow. This attack was only to see if this beast was holding back any skill he had not seen before. Noek searched through the mind he was inhabiting to see if he could find The owner. He had been in this mind for 15 years and has never met up with the owner.
Noek found Keon lying next to a cage. Insider of the cage was all he deepest fears. However Noek took a closer look and saw some amazing things as well. The bars of the gate were big enough that he and Keon both could fit in but the things inside were too big to get out. However this was something they could do another day. Noek grabbed Keon by the arms making sure to keep his head off the ground and pulled him to the front of the mind. "Two heads are better than one. well two minds at least we still share the same head." Noek smiled ans Keon laughed but upon seeing the beast and what they were doing he frowned.
Noek still had control and kept it for fear that Keon would run away. Keon did not run away but he added some extra force to the attack by adding a very strong current to the blades of water giving them double if not triple the power and giving them something to defend with that wouldn't drain so much chakra.
(the part when they're are in his mind is like when naruto goes into his seal and takes a second or two to happen in game.)

[OOC~ nice, you definately are showing improvement.^^ There are spelling errors through-out the post though. I will admit I am not the best speller around, lmao, I get spelling nazied a lot by one of my friends whenever we rp but anyways. There is a spell check button on here you can use to check over your post before you submit it. But I never use it thanks to the fact it moves so slow, even on my laptop and often deletes my post. I suggest just simply re-reading the post before you actually submit it.
You know how the post is supposed to look and sound in your head so its easy to miss little things like leaving off a letter or having accidentally hit a wrong letter. So here is a piece of advice. Read the post backwards. Start at the end and go over the sentence backwards, it will help you find some of the most common mistakes. For extremely large and complicated words, unless you're using a ton of them then just do the best you can. I actually will pester whoever is in the room on how something should be spelled sometimes! Or just have a dictonary available.
Your sentences are becoming smoother and flow together easier than they were before. But I can still see some rough areas in there but those will gradually vanish as you continue to rp and gain experience. Some sentences are a little wordy, meaning there are unneeded words in there and other sentences are cut short when they could be longer. I know you're worried about run on's. A good way to combine two sentences without making it a run on is to use a semi-colon to join them. Just be sure not to over use them. Once again these are things which shall deminish in time. As you continue to rp and observe the rp styles of others around you. You'll eventually come to the point of developing your own little unique touches and twists to your posting style. As far as I'm concerned you got the basics down pretty well.
Now that you seem to have a handle on the basics, I'm going to increase the level of difficulty in the fight. If you feel overwhelmed let me know and I'll change things up to make it a little easier and give you some more tips. I'm use to battling with people I've known for years so my style in battle has changed and the intensity tends to turn very very quickly.]
IC ~
LIE?! What the hell are you talking about?! Demon?! What demon?! I'm not a demon! I'm an Epitaph! Don't aquaint me with whatever beasts which dwell here! I'm not even from this damn dimension! Just because I don't look like you doesn't mean I'm some kind of monster! Stubborn jackass! What the bloody hell was with this human?! It was now clearly apparent to the poor Epitaph words could not reach this human's mind where ever it may lie. True, Haseo could be a real bastard and sure he'd pissed off plenty of people in his life but he didn't believe it was enough to kill him over! Okay, maybe that wasn't completely true either but what did it matter? That was situation at home, not here. What did he ever do to this guy to cause him to loath him as much as he did?!
Being born was the answer to that question. Stuck on the belief Haseo really was a demon, this human was not about to hear any if's, an's, or but's about it. He was so convinced of what his eyes told him he was unwilling to listen to what the other had to say. Damn it all. Looked as though Haseo was going to have no choice but to fight. Of course there was the option of turning tail and fleeing but this was vital information he needed to obtain. If this human perceived him as a demon, it could very well mean this was how other inhabitents of this land were going to see him. If this proved to be the case, he was certainly in for a long and grizzly haul in trying to find a way to return to his own world.
Second reason, the humans of his homeworld indeed possessed powers but nothing in the range of what this human displayed! Only the Epitaph and gods were capable of such strengths! The hell is this?! You claim I'm some monster but what of yourself? No human I ever knew displayed power like that! You humans are the ones who did wrong to the Epitaph and the Gods! You grew greedy and attempted to steal Our abilities! Why do you think the Bulwark wall was built to separate heaven and earth? Humans have not the slightest ickling as to the methods of controlling such power. You'll destroy yourself with it!
Different dimension or not, in Haseo's mind the only logical explination for power such as this, was if it had been stolen from a god! If there was one thing Haseo could not stand, it was a person who attempted to take the easy way out of something as important as obtaining power properly. Humans did not want to do the hard work, thus they attempted to take it from someone who had done the hard work! Lowlifes.
Upon seeing the other charge, Haseo knew it was time to get serious. Haste mode was activated, a state in which his basic physical abilities such as strength, speed, agility, defense, senses, and strength were increased to 25 times their normal rate, placing them a good 50 times more powerful than a human's ability. One second he was there, the next? Gone in the literal blink of an eye. Re-appearing behind the enraged human, Haseo stood, crimson eyes glowering, mixture of irritation and frustration blazing within those orbs.
Standing tall, right hand extended out from his body, held off to the side, golden claws splayed apart. That human would have to do better if he desired to catch Haseo let alone work his way through that insane armor of his! It almost seemed as if it were in slow motion the male called forth one of his trade mark weapons. Lethal claws dug deep into the dimensional fabric, latching hold onto something before drawing it out to be seen by all.
At first, only what appeared to be the enlongated hilt of a sword appeared, then the actual hilt appeared. This was a monster of a weapon to behold! The hilt itself had to span two feet across! The blade, this was no sword, it was far beyond the range of a broadsword..this was a claymore! And not just any claymore either. Seven feet in length from the tip of the hilt to the end of the blade, a good foot and a half across, the end was a large, broad flat, and rounded, actually resembling the head of a hammerhead shark! This tip was not designed for cutting, it was designed for blunt trama infliction.
As if that was not enough, not only was the duel cutting edge sported on this claymore, set onto the blade itself was a set of 16 spike, each one 8 inches long and curved. Now, what was the purpose of these? The answer came in the frightening sound of the high speed spinning. It was a chainsaw edge! The spike actually rotated around the entire sword! Surely a blow by this weapon would swiftly disembowel nearly any enemy.
With his weapon drawn, Haseo charged. Even with a weapon this large, he was not slowed down in the slightest, after all his enhanced strength allowed this to happen. Within inches of the other, Haseo vanished once again, appearing before him from the left side, down below in the blink of an eye. Sword in his right hand, it was held aloft as the beast attempted to body slam the other with his left arm and side! Once again, it was a feint, a trick, a distraction.
Long tail snapped around with the speed of a striking cobra, the blade on the tail aiming to hamstring the other male. Hamstringing was an attack lions used to take down prey, by sinking their claws deep into the thighs of the animal and ripping the hamstring muscle to shreds, disabling its ability to move. Haseo was attempting to employ the same method here. Would it work?

Keon took back over letting Noek have a break from fighting. Keon slid turning around to face the beast. He was enraged at being called a thief. In fact it had made him wince a bit. he had lived in a semi-perfect place. he had seen no thievery until he had left his village and was allowed to explore other villages. Being accused of stealing hit him hard.
However he wasn't going to cry about it. He quickly formed a string of hand seals making a sword of water. He saw the tail just as the sword formed. Blocking it was an entirely different ordeal. He bounced into the air about 3 or 4 feet into the air and the tail hit the sword hard. Keon made the blade hard sending him into a spin in the air. He flipped from his horizontal position and landed behind Haseo and took his cloud of water with him. It went to his hand and formed into a second blade.
Keon then did a back flip and turned to run. He knew the terrain and if the beast was telling the truth about its knowledge of the same terrain then Keon could end this fight early and get to the beach. Also if the beast really was from another dimension could it to walk on water. That would give him another advantage over this situation.
Keon threw some explosive tags along the trees as he ran along the forest hoping it would slow down the thing holding the huge sword with spinning blades he had seen nothing like it in his 25 years of living. and hoped he could have it as a war prize when he has finished slaying the beast. it would make a nice monument that could tell the story for generations to come.
Keon thought out his next strategy while he ran. If he made it there the first thing he would do was open a portal to throw the demon off a bit then reappear behind it and try to use Strong Thunder Lotus Chain

[OOC ~ Okay you did good but there is one thing you did that I wish to bring your immediate attention to. In the rp guide there is the form of rp which involves a player saying a little bit of damage hit while they attempted to counter attack or dodge their opponets attack. It also works for the person writing the attack to claim a little bit of damage hit in the beginning of the description of the attack and then trailing off to leave the rest of the damage up to the other player to decide what happened to their character.
Now then in your post you claimed you dodged Haseo's attack with the tail blade he has. That's fine. But then you went on to describe what happened to Haseo after you dodged the attack which was something not done to him by your character. You claimed that when keon dodged the tail blade smacked into the sword. It might sound minor but most people now a days, the younger crowd which is involved in rping is going to get irritated that you described something happening to their character and gave them no control over it.
I honestly do not care that you wrote about the two blades making contact. After all I myself am use to that type of rp style in battle. Not to mention its a minor detail. Now if you had continued to add on to the description and claimed the impact knocked the sword out of Haseo's hand I would have had something to say about it. But you didn't so you are good.
I just wanted to make you aware of this because as I said before not all people will take kindly to any amount of detail, small as it may be, being described about their character that they did not say was okay to happen.
Here is a good hint. Before starting a battle, talk to the person and discuss the type of rp style being used for the battle. Ask them ahead of time if small details such as the one here are allowed to be described by you. I always am sure to do this so as not to accidentally irritate the person I'm rping with and cause a scene. So, ask and you shall have the evidence to cover your ass. A nice little rhyme I made up and trust me it proves true.
So then, I shall ask you. I am okay with small little things like that being controlled because it is within reason. May I do the same thing? But as I said before and I cannot stress it enough, a lot of people are not comfortable with this type of rp style battle. Its something only the most advanced and confident people use.]
IC ~
Good reflexes, though I'm not sure if it was by sheer luck he managed to avoid the attack from behind, or perhaps he actually saw through my stream of feints and distractions. Regardless, he avoided it..this time. I believe it's about time we check the notion on this human and see if it is luck or skill which has allowed him to last this long. Humans from my homeworld would have been slain by now. Still, I cannot underestimate the extent of his powers. These thoughts and more raced through the male's mind, ringing out upon the clash of his own tail blade against the claymore. Good thing the blade upon the end of his tail was actually alive, otherwise an impact such as this would have shattered the weapons!
How can a sword be alive? Simple, the last two feet worth of vertibray in his tail were all fused together, creating a solid rod of bone two feet in length. Muscle, viens, and fat were entwined around these fused vertibray. The outter, hard casing was made in the same fashion as the horn of a rhino. Kertine, the same protien which made up hair and nails on all living creatures was woven in such a tight and interloping fashion that it was able to form a bone hard casing around the fused sections of spine. In order to strengthen the blade the same material bullet proof vests are made out of, kevlar was woven in a three layer pattern inbetween the Kertine.
How did kevlar end up in a living creature? Because of Haseo's genetalica make up and the protiens and other chemicals produced in his body, he was actually able to produce the same chemical compounds which made up kevlar. In order to absorb the impacks and prevent the blade from shattering there were cushioning layers of fat inbetween, designed to give and flex. Though, make no mistake it was still possible for the blade to be cracked and the outter layers stripped away.
The beast hung back, allowing the other some time to gain a little bit of a head start. After all, Haseo was not aiming to kill him, he only wanted or rather, needed to immobilize him to stop this fight. Haseo knew well enough he'd be walking directly into a mine field of traps and who knows what else if he followed directly after the strange human. Thus, the male decided to take a smarter route, he would follow the other at a parallel angle, avoiding the main traps but there was still no telling what was going to happen once they exited the forest itself.
Even at this distance, the male's sense of smell was not to be under estimated. There was a lake nearby, Haseo could smell the scent of fresh, clear, clean water wafting towards him from a north western position. This so happened to be the direction the other was headed in. It was no suprise he was moving for the water, after all it was an element he controlled rather well. Even so, he should not underestimate Haseo just as Haseo would not under estimate him.
With Haste mode still activated the Epitaph raced off, he would beat the other to the shores and then see what would happen! Despite his size and the massive weapon he torted around, Haseo was easily able to manuver through the trees, his footfalls and movements as silent as an owl's wings upon the wind. Stealth was one of this male's specialties. As such he not only made sure to remain quite and move at a far enough distance to avoid being seen, he also made sure to draw in his aura and energy fields to avoid detection. As an extra precaution he ran at a bit of an odd angle, moving with the wind to prevent his scent from reaching the other.
Arriving at the new battleground, an idea formulated inside the male's mind. An ambush attack to surround and shake this opponent up seemed like a decent enough idea. Taking into consideration how jumpy, for lack of a better term, this one was, it was best to use an attack which could be launched at long range and easily be followed up with his own attack. Remaining in the treelines, refusing to step foot into the stand less he give himself away, Haseo set up in a perfect ambush position.
As Keon came bounding out of the forest, wildely glancing to and fro, searching for his enemy, the attack came. The spinning blades of the claymore had long been silenced, now, using the blunt edge of the blade, the beast tore open the fabric of space once again, calling forth an entire army's worth of different blades! Small, medium, large, everything inbetween, telekinesis, a power long possessed and used by his kind was used to take control of the ten thousand blades. In a twisting, twirling, turning current, edges flashing in the light, giving the sea of swords the appearance of a moving river of water, they hurled forth at break neck speeds!
Some split off from the main tide, slamming and embedding into the ground and surrounding area all around the human, attempting to stop short any means of escape. As the blades continued to rain down, many of them locked on to Keon and following him as he moved for a little while before slamming into the ground; Haseo made his move. Having already drawn forth another claymore exactly like the one he already held into his free hand, the beast involked in Haste and vanished from sight. He re-appeared behind Keon then vanished, appearing up, down, left, right, all around in an attempt to confusion Keon as to which would be the real strike.
His patter was erotic and ever changing, never repating the same thing twice to avoid giving the other an advantage in figuring him out. Without warning, he lunged forth, both swords screaming towards Keon, saw edges bellowing forth their intentions! With one sword aimed for Keon's arms, the second aim for his legs, the tail was brought into play once more from behind. This definately did not look good.

Keon saw the attack and was not surprised. He had seen attacks like this in Genjutsu but doubted the fact that this was Genjutsu and used void claw once more to enter the realm of nothingness. Disappearing he fell once again the gravitational shifts took affect. This time the fall was much more than Keon could handle. He closed the portal before any of the blades could enter and reopened another portal over the water and shot straight out.
The speed he had with the fall in the Void dimension gave him the appearance of jumping out of the water. he did a few flips to show off and closed that portal landing in the center of where it used to be. Keon planed to use the Thunder Chain and opened the first two gates to do so Leaving the gate of life for when the demon made it closer. He dropped his gourd in the water and it floated. It was made of chakra infused ice. The bottom was also flat so it could be upright at all times.
Keon locked on to the chest of the demon hoping the beast would turn around and see him. Keon knew the fight would end the second it entered the water. There was no living thing that could beat him as long as he was on top of the water.
Keon then entered his Chin Na stance. Trap and Lock. He planed to lock the bones connected to its tail to eliminate that threat it had almost taken his leg off. luckily he was able to deflect it with his sword. Keon made a hand seal and the sword turned into a whip. he raised his arm and the water whip wrapped around his arm as Lee had instructed him to all those years before. Keon smiled then looked hard at the demon and wished with everything in him that it would charge at him the same way it did with its tail. He hoped it would cross over into the water and with that give Keon something to play with in his domain.

So, he once again dodges my attacks. Tricky bastard. However he made a critical error in judgement. Water is a very powerful element, yet, it does indeed have it's weaknesses. Even with these thoughts dancing across the surface of his mind, Haseo felt a slight pang of irritation towards the other. Not only was this human capable of control over water, he also possessed the ability to jump through portals, through voids such as Haseo himself could. Power to alter space and time, to just through the very fabric of the universe was an ability reserved strictly for the gods! Now more than ever, the beast was sure the humans of this world had stolen these powers they so claimed to be their own from the gods.
Even with this knowledge in hand, it proved to both help and hinder the male. Now he knew the other could jump through space, he could use it against him. However, if this human was capable of this, then what other powers did he possess?! What other powers had been stolen from the gods?! The Epitaph could only hope this one did not hold in his hand the power of which he himself owned. It was a power granted only to the Eight Epitaph by the Twilight Dragon. Sealed away for centuries, having only just awakend, there was no way for the humans to have stolen the abilities of the Epitaph! Was there? Shaking the thought from his mind, the beast returned the situation at hand.
Time to make things interesting. Keon wanted a charge? Alright, he would give him a charge! Slowly, Haseo moved at first, his body moving into what appeared to be some kind of stance, cranium tilted down, tail stilling, this did not look good. Then, it came. Without any warning or indication what could only have been described as a re-enactment of the parting of the Red Sea, took place. This was no elemental control speal mind you. The sudden erection of walls of water over 100 feet high was thanks to the unforseen sonic boom left in Haseo's wake.
Now, the beast had activated the final stage of his speed abilities. Well, not final, final stage...but it could be considered top notche for having only one tail level of power at the current moment. Body Flicker was the next stage in speed, within this ability was contained several other levels of speed to be achieved, for now Haseo was positioned at the first level, mac one. The young male aimed to distrupt and blast the human clear off his feet with the resulting sonic booms and while he was flustering about, attack him at extremely high speed!
Still, why not stop for a second and show this male just how out of his league he truly was? At first, one might be led to think extreme speed was the only thing enabling Haseo to stay ontop of the water. After all under extreme high tension the surface of the water behaved like a solid. Skidding to an abrupt stop, the beast stood a good 50 meters away from the other upon the surface of the water. Similar to the human's version of the god's ability it was, however, Haseo made use of a combination of his aura and his Soul Element Ability...aka elemental kinesis.
Soul was the base from which all elements stemmed. Haseo controlled the element of soul. With this, he was able to exhurt control over all the other elements in existance as well. But, in his current state, this was about all he could really manage to do with only a one tail power level. It would not be until he regained more tails would his elemental abilities increase. Still, this was enough to display to the human he was not as superior to an Epitaph as he thought he might have been.
Now, to mix things up a bit! charging once more, Haseo began to weave and dodge at random intervals desperate to not allow the other gain a true lock on. He approached from the front, then dodged to the side using body flicker, attempting to catch the other in a sonic boom blast. Twisting around, Haseo threw out his two massive swords infront of him, aiming to break the other's arms with the blunted fronts of the blade.
Unbeknown to the human, the beast had taken a precaution before all this began, not only was his armor going to be a bitch to get through, but now, under his armor, invisible and currently undetectible was another layer of armor...and aura shield covering his entire body, raised only a few millimeters off the surface of his skin. Haseo meant business, and thus his fight style had transformed, to be full of suprises! If the other managed to break through his armor, he would meet the aura shield. No doubt this would really piss him off when he made contact with it.

Keon smiled as he saw the beast charge onto the water. Keon was quick about what he was going to do next. He too ducked down, but not for the same reason the beast did. The beast was fast there was no doubt in that. However Keon Keon had fought and learned from Lee the fastest thing on two legs. Keon also was put through a year of training with Lee and Gai. Keon was given a set of weights similar to Lee's while he was undergoing his training. His speed rivaled that of Lee's and Gai's. Keon however would save that for later showing the demon that was unnecessary now.
Keon saw it stop and stand on the water and knew this could be interesting. He had never fought another person who knew he had the power to control water who had th audacity to stand still on in front of him. Keon waited for the beast to make it closer to him and attempted to catch him with a simple uppercut. No added power except from the gate of opening. However if it were to land on exposed flesh it would shatter a few bones. On the other hand if it landed on the armor, where he was currently aiming, it would do nothing but send him into the air.
Keon timed the punch so it would come just as the beast made it to him. Keon also thought of the force coming in a wrapped his ankles with water so he wouldn't fly back. Keon released the water whip along with the punch so even if he didn't land the punch to preform the Leaf shadow dance he could at least break through the armor with Strong Thunder Lotus Chain.

[OOC ~ watch yourself keon. I noticed as the battle continues and only actions are taking place that you are reverting back to your old methods. Your sentences are getting shaky, more run on sentences are showing up, more words are mis-spelled, words are left out and the over all sentences structure is turning rather poor. It almost seems as if you're in a hurry with the typing of the post and thus it comes out like it did here. Its not a race, you're not going to insantly die if you don't crank out a post as fast as possible. Rushing gets you no where and makes for poor quality.
Slow down, take your time in writing things such as this. Remember, when it comes a battle rp in which actions can easily be mis-read by another person because they are trying to focus on what is going to be put into their post. People tend to read these types of threads and responses in a hurry. This type of thread is where you have to be as crystal clear as crystal clear can be. Spend more time describing the attacks, spend more time describing the entire thing. Also, try to employ other elements, other things which have been described in the other person's post. Take time to really think things through.
One last thing. We cannot keep dodging and evading each other's attacks forever. If we did that this thread would just go on until neither of us could think of a way to dodge and thus the entire fight was for nothing. Also, constant dodging in a row is considered a form of power playing. After about four posts of just dodging is right about the time when it begins to become too much and people can become frustrated. This is something I learned the hard way during my first month as an rper 10 years ago.
My character was all based on speed and agility thus I thought it was okay to just keep dodging and dancing around like mad as I'd seen characters based totally off of speed do in animes. Thats good and all but in the rp world do it too much and people think you're power playing. We can keep moving at high speed, but we'll have to start making physical contact at this point. But its okay, you're still learning. I figured I'd wait and see if and when you were going to say about me landing some kind of damage upon you. Now that our attacks are really getting up there, blood is going to be drawn. Since no physical damage has been delt by you or me, we need to start doing it. I wanted to see where you would draw the cut off line and say "okay damage needs to be done, this flipping around is getting stupid and pointless, we can't keep this up forever."
I was hoping you would have called this point already but seeing as you have not I am. This is one of the easiest things a person can over look, and thus, something which can get them into a lot of trouble even though they are not looking for it. Fights are a balancing act. Remember that. Just keep in mind after about four of your own posts, you should begin writing your character taking damage in the fifth post you make and then altering between taking damage, dodging, and counter attack in your remaining posts until the thread ends. A good pattern is one post of mild to mid range damage delt to you, then two posts of dodging mixed with counter attacks, then two posts of you attacking all out, then one post of a major blow and then just repeat the cycle.
Once a person initiates this cycle the other person will generally oblige you and return the favor if they are a decent rper. So this cycle shall begin now. Otherwise if we do not move on in this I will not be able to teach you about how to best deal with those types of situations involving what I just spoke about.
Oh by the way, Rock Lee is the fastest human around which would make your guy the fastest known human around since Rock Lee is now dead. Rock was fast but he never hit mac 1 speeds which is 767 mph. The human body even in the 8 inner gates state is incapable of handling that kind of stress. Haseo can withstand the stress because his body was built for it and as a different species he has a much higher endurance, but he can only keep this up for a short period of time still. I would estimate Lee's top speeds as far as movement at being inbetween 200 and 300 mph...closer to 300 when throwing kicks and punches but more so at 200 when actually running. Thus Keon would be the same. That is a TON of force behind those attacks at those speeds don't get me wrong.
But here is one of those points I mentioned earlier in which things such as character type, species, and powers need to be taken into consideration. In a straight out speed match with no dirty tricks, Haseo would beat Keon. But this speed has its draw backs, it takes him longer to stop and toppling him at those speeds will cause some nasty damage. Do not focuse so much on trying to outstrip your enemy, focusing on using their own strength against them. When you find yourself outstripped in a physical field, try making use of something else to counter it.
Haseo proved he's a speed demon and that he can at least walk on water. Speed is useless if you cannot go anywhere. Speed gathers and grows higher when there is little friction. But no friction would mean going no where at all because without friction there is no traction and no traction means that object is going no where. Use the element to your advantage. -hint hint- ^^
But this is all good that we are going over this now. Like I said this was going to be a major learning experience.]
IC ~
Fuck. it was the only word having enough time to cross the male's mind as a devistating blow was landed upon the mid section of his chest. He was simply going too fast to see it coming! Damn it all, even though he was still physically capable of using Haste and Body Flicker, with only one tail and not at 100 percent capacity his eyes were lagging in their ability to accurately judge distance, movement, and all other critical elements when he was traveling at this speed of mac one! Haseo could see, but the information was not being gathered fast enough by the eyes in order for his brain to process the information!
Hopefully this was only due to the fact he was only at about 70 percent strength, still recovering from the final battle with Cubia. Either way, this landed the male into a shit load of trouble! This time around, his own speed worked against him, he wasn't so much punched as he was slamming into Keon's fist on his own thanks to his lack of control at this point. The kenetic energy should have been enough to bust up the bones in the entire arm but instead the energy was bounced back at Haseo.
It was a critical action, one Keon probably did not even know about, nor even have time to think about. It was exicuted within fractions of a second, so fast probably not even a demon with nearly all available tails could see. In the split second of which Haseo's body just barely made contact with Keon's fist, within the time frame when the two were touching by the width of a single hair, Keon fired off his punch, hurling all that energy from Haseo back at him plus dealing in his own force.
The result sent the beast rocketing backwards across the lake surface as he fell to all fours, talons and claws digging in deep as he skidded to a hault on the beach, a large pathway now carved out in the landscape. The male stood, shaking his head slightly, appearing to shrug off what just happened. Eyes shot down, ears having picked up a sound he never wanted to hear. The force of the colliding impact and all that energy being turned against him had generated enough power to actually break a section of protected armor on his chest!
Transfixed as the armor he so dearly loved cascaded forth from his own body, a residual effect caught up with him. Interal damage suffered during the fight with Cubia, only partiacally healed had re-opened. Blood streamed forth from his jaws, the poor beast reduced to hacking up vast amounts of his own blood. If he were human this surely would have been the end of him, yet it was not. For no sooner had the blood spilled forth from his jaws did it begin to twitch and move of its own acording! What was this?! His blood was being drawn back into his own body, the internal damage attempting to heal as his regeneration powers kicked in.
Still, he could not regenerate in the true sense, at least not yet, only the bleeding was stopped but the damage still remained. Not having fed for the past three days weakend the effects of his powers, and with Skeith, his split personality and the side who held the truly devistating powers still out cold from the last battle, Haseo was not fairing too well. Damn it all.

Keon was taken by surprise that he still had an arm, but more so that the punch landed. Keon's arm went limp and he had lost all feeling in it. He thought that it was a very bad situation at first and quickly thought of a way to make it work in his favor. While the beast flew backward Keon covered his arm in water. this would give him control over it and make it look as though he had taken no damage.
Keon then forced himself to make hand seals using Aqua Soul to move his arm to form the seals with the dead arm. After doing that he turned the whip back into a sword. He wondered if he could deliver a punch like that again, or would he need to.
As Keon looked up he saw the beast had something lying in from of it. it looked like black twisted metal. Then he looked harder closer and paid more attention to the detail of the twisted metal. It was something that had been broken. But what? Keon had did more damage than he had thought possible. not only did he send the beast flying, but he took of a piece of the armor that proved so troublesome before.
Keon now knew he would have to be more cautious of what he did next. he debated in his mind with Noek on the topic of what was the next move. Keon thought it was best to stand still and wait as they had done before and hope to be as lucky as the were the first time. Noek however screamed at him that the best course of action was to hit him while he was down and feed him to Umi when he was done. Hearing the name of his best friend and partner in battle gave Keon the strength to carry into what he saw as the best follow up move.
It happened faster than most people could notice. Keon hit 125 mph in less than 5 seconds. Since he was using his chakra to run across the water it didn't give the same affect as when the beast did it. The water acted similar to asphalt as he ran. It did not stir move or make any sound louder than that of a quiet splash. Keon Let both of his arms bounce and move freely as he dashed in a curved path towards the demon. Keon would reach him in seconds. However instead of striking for any exposed body part Keon Jumped over forced his dead arm to make hand seals for Corn Starch Field Jutsu.
The clear go spurted from his mouth. Keon was not aiming for the beast, but rather around him to lure him in it. Keon then did a flip and sent more chakra than normal to his feet so that he himself would not be trapped by his own move. The goo wasn't thick, in fact it had the same consistency as water with a bit of sugar in it. It had the same smell and look as water. the only difference was the feel and once you felt it you were trapped and there was nothing any creature could do. There was nothing precedent to show other wise. The bond would have to be broken by an outside force.
Well to Keon's knowledge at least, and in the heat of war that is all he had time to go by. It was painfully obvious that the beast had not lied about being from another dimension. It had shown that it could open portals to other dimensions. also it seemed angered by the fact that he could use jutsu as if it was unnatural.
(sorry bout the rushed posts kinda stressin bout a lot)
